Postscript:

1. Although I no longer host Move Thee Reviews and I have been extremely busy this year, I have watched 120 movies in 2009.
2. The movies formally released this year are generally less impressive than the ones in 2008, but some of the films not formally released are quite surprising.
3. Although Hong Kong films cannot be found in my list, there are some nice ones in
2009. They include 十月圍城, 明媚時光, 天水圍的夜與霧, 音樂人生 and 無聲風鈴. Last year, 烈日當空 was one of my top 10 movies and I recommended 天水圍的日與夜. 
4. My top-10-movie list is tentative and subject to changes as time goes by.
5. Our lists can be very different and everyone’s choice should be respected.

In these ten years, there are some good Hong Kong films too. Although they are not in my list, I would like to share them with you. I persoanlly love 無間道, 天水圍的日與夜, 烈日當空, 金雞, 投名狀, 男人四十, 跟蹤, 榴槤飄飄, 臥虎藏龍 and 功夫.
