1. You look so good in the photo. 2. Pizza Express, from the UK, has been in Hong Kong for a long period of time. It's a bit of higher market than Pizza Hut etc. 3. Caffe Habitu is of the similar level as Starbucks among cafes in Hong Kong. The price for cakes of this kind of cafes is always high, since you got to count the atmosphere they have provided to you. In dining, you need to consider contents of your food/drinks AS WELL AS context.
回覆刪除[版主回覆02/09/2011 12:01:00]Thanks! Pizza Express is beyond compare. As for Caffe Habitu at Taikoo Shing, I think the atmosphere is not relaxing enough because there are lots of people looking for seats and walking past you. It is an open area like a food court.
How about Cali Pizza Kitchen? Caffe Habitu is not that common in Hong Kong, since Starbucks and Pacific Coffee dominates HK cafe market. If I have to pay for a coffee for about $30-40, I would rather go to somewhere more elegant and relaxing, e.g. 5-star hotels. Coffee or drinks in 5-star hotels are 'value for money' after discount, if you got the relevant credit cards or membership cards.

[版主回覆02/09/2011 16:54:00]I seldom go to Taikoo Shing. I went there because I had to attend a preview. I sometimes think movies and cuisine are interrelated. I always want to eat some nice food after watching a movie. A bad meal may spoil the night.

In the future, I will try to do some research on the internet before dining out at some nice restaurants, asking myself two questions: 1. Which restaurant should I go to? 2. What dishes should I order?
These dishes will be my Must Eat for next trip to HK
