嚇人的《索女．喪屍．機關槍》向B級cult片致敬

昆頓塔倫天奴 Quentin Tarantino 的《玩命．飛車．殺人狂》，與其好友羅拔洛迪格斯 Robert Rodriguez 的《索女．喪屍．機關槍》是玩野姊妹作，兩套cult片均被視作向賣弄血腥恐怖同時大灑鹽花的B級片致敬之作。《索女．喪屍．機關槍》發生於德克薩斯州，軍事基地洩漏生化病毒，在醫生夫妻威廉（佐斯布連 Josh Brolin 飾）與其妻狄歌達 Dakota（瑪妮雪頓 Marley Shelton 飾）之醫院內，不停有感染病毒的居民求診，其實這些居民數小時後便會變成食人喪屍。勁索舞孃采妮 Cherry（露絲麥高雲飾）被喪屍食去右腳，切去右腳的采妮被男友艾雷 Wray（費迪洛迪格斯 Freddy Rodriguez 飾）裝上一支機關槍當作義肢。從此以槍代腳的采妮，遂與艾雷聯手，以「機關槍腳」掃射食人喪屍，帶領未受感染的少數人類撤離這個恐怖星球……
Planet Terror is an outrageous, disgusting and repulsive zombie movie which includes numerous scenes of blood-letting, nudity, eating and exploding bodies, castration, amputation and mutilation.
Planet Terror is also a salute to B cult movies made in 1970s. Based on the formula established by 1968's Night of the Living Dead, this zombie movie with overzealous acting, paper-thin characters, a typical ending, plot holes and absurdly fake blood resembling raspberry jelly reminds me of the B movies made in 1970s. Besides, the mock trailer (called Machete) shown at the beginning of the movie, missing reels, scratches and splotches are fun. Some action scenes are also well-designed and entertaining.
The director's deliberate effort to create a bad zombie movie which is like those B movies made in 1970s is highly appreciated and he does achieve his aim! The film is really crappy, though some scenes are fun, in a disgusting way. Fans of cult movies won't be disappointed, while I personally find the experience gruelling and disgusting. 2.5 / 5
