The Wrestler is a realistic, well-acted and engaging
movie about a wrestler's lonely life behind his glory on the stage. The film
also has some depressing moments, including his lonely life, his screwed up
relationship with his daughter, a wrestler's sad life after retirement and the
injuries he suffered. However, the film may not be your cup of tea if
you hate wrestling or violent movies. Some may also find his daughter's decision
at the end puzzling. WORTH seeing!!! 4 / 5

By the way, I want to urge movie lovers to watch 東京奏鳴曲 @ BC and IFC. It is a brilliant Japanese drama which is about the destruction of a family. The director is famous for making ghost stories and this family drama also looks like a ghost story, which is very special to me. Although the mother's decision made after being kidnapped is weird to me, I still highly recommend this film to you. 4.5 / 5_________________________________________
